But now the lovers of sports cars in India will not have to wait much as one of the domestic car makers DC is finally going to make their dream of driving a sports car come true. Codenamed as DC Avanti is the first Indian Sports car which has been developed completely in India and that also by Indian manufacturer.

 

The car has been developed on the same platform on which famous cars like Ferrari and Lamborghini are developed. Empowered with 2.0 litre, 4 cylinder turbo-charged petrol engine, Avanti will touch the mark of 100 kmph within the span of 6 seconds followed by top speed of 250 kmph. Developed in sleek aerodynamic design Avanti is perfect match of power and performance that will grab the attention of commuters on Indian roads. With ground clearance of 170mm, Avanti has length of 4,550 mm, height of 1,200 mm and width of 1,965mm. The origin of Avanti is an illustration that Indian manufacturers have succeeded in attaining the levels that are determined by International manufacturers. The first Indian Sports car is expected to make its debut in Indian car market on April 16, 2015.
