Honda suspends the production of Mobilio
March 22, 2016: According to reports going through the poor sales and increasing competition in segment with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Renault Lodgy and Toyota Innova. Launched two years back in August 2014 received an encouraging response from Indian buyers and more than 3500 units were sold in couple of months after launch. But after that company witnessed sudden decline in sales and recorded sale of 226 units sold in month of February this year.
Honda launches upgraded version of Mobilio in Indonesia
January 21, 2016: Japanese car maker Honda Motors has launched the refreshed version of its MPV Mobilio in Indonesian car market with subtle changes on exteriors and bunch of changes on interiors. Continuing the same engine configuration in both diesel and petrol variants the upgraded version is soon going to touch Indian roads in coming months.

Honda introduces two new grades in line-up of Honda Mobilio
August 25, 2014: Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), leading manufacturer of premium cars in India, today introduced two new grades of Honda Mobilio V(O) & RS(O) featuring first in segment Audio Video Navigation (AVN) and Rear View Parking Camera. The newly introduced V(O) grade will be positioned on top of the existing E, S and V grade in both Petrol & Diesel. The exclusive sporty RS (Diesel) variant of the Mobilio will have an additional RS (O) grade featuring the AVN and Rear Parking camera. The availability of the RS and RS(O) will begin from mid-September 2014
Honda to export Mobilio in Indonesia
July 29, 2014: After successful launch of MPV Mobilio in both Indonesia and Indian car market, Japanese car maker is exploring the roots of MPV in South African car market. It is reported that the Indian arm of Japanese car maker Honda Cars India Limited is going to export the MPV in South Africa and for this it has started the necessary discussions with African government. Once the talks are finalized the MPV would be exported to South Africa.
Honda launches Mobilio in Maharashtra
July 25, 2014: Japanese car maker Honda Motors after launching Mobilio MPV in Delhi has launched the MPV in Maharashtra with starting price of Rs. 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom price in Mumbai) for petrol variant. The diesel variant has been launched with price tag of Rs. 10.86 lakh (ex-showroom price in Mumbai). The petrol version is empowered with 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol engine while the diesel variant is equipped with 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine. It would be interested to know that company has so far recorded more than 6500 bookings of Mobilio after it was started from July 8, 2014.
Honda Mobilio records the waiting period of about five months
July 24, 2014: It is reported that Honda Mobilio, the new initiative of Japanese car maker which was launched yesterday has already enjoyed the taste of success quite early before its launch. According to reports company has so far received 5800 bookings for Mobilio since 8th July when the company started the booking of MPV. Mobilio is launched in both petrol and diesel variants and will compete against existing players like Ertiga from MSIL, Innova from Toyota and others.

July 23, 204: Honda Cars India Limited, the Indian arm of Japanese car maker Honda Motors has finally launched the Honda Mobilio MPV in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi). The Mobilio has been launched in both petrol and diesel trims in E,S, and V variants. The petrol variant is empowered with 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol engine while the diesel variant is equipped with 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine. Both variants are claimed to be fuel efficient variants in their segments delivering an average of 17.9 kmp and 24.2 kmpl respectively.

July 8, 2014: HMIL has started the bookings of its upcoming MPV Mobilio slated to make its debut in Indian car market on July 23, 2014. The MPV would be launched in both petrol and diesel variants. The diesel variant will be empowered with 1.5 litre i-DTEC engine developing the power of 98bhp and torque of 200 Nm, while the petrol variant will be equipped with 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine boosting the power of 117 bhp and torque of 145 Nm.
