May 3, 2021: Kia Motors India has launched the 2021 Sonet in the Indian car market with a starting price of Rs 6.79 lakh for the base variant. Under the hood the new Sonet comes equipped with 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, 1.0-litre Turbo T-GDI petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. In its new edition the Sonet receives 10 new features including ten new features consisting of rear door sunshade curtains, voice command for sunroof open and close. Both these features are offered for the first time in any of the vehicles in the segment. Other features offered in Sonet include Vehicle Stability Management, Brake Assist System, Hill Assist Control System, Electronic Stability Control System.  Apart from these features the lower trims are also updated with the features like remote engine start, electronic sunroof, chrome garnished door handles, silver wheel caps, crystal  cut alloy wheels and a few more.
