Details Of Maruti Suzuki Ignis Facelift Leaked Ahead Of Its Showcase

December 31, 2019: The images of facelift Maruti Suzuki Ignis hatchback have leaked online ahead of its showcase during the Indian Auto Expo 2020. With new BS-VI compliant engine, 1.2 liter, 4 cylinder petrol engine that will boost the power of 82 bhp and the torque of 113Nm. The front fascia according to the leaked images seems to be inspired by the S-Presso in the form of toothed grille. The transmission duties will be performed by five speed manual and five speed AMT transmission system.

2019 Maruti Suzuki Ignis Upgraded With New Safety Features

February 28, 2019: Country’s leading carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has upgraded the Ignis hatchback with a bunch of safety features as standard features across all the variants. The list of standard safety features now includes dual airbags, ABS+EBD, ISOFIX-child seat restraint system, seat belt pre-tensioners, reverse parking assist system, high-speed alert system, co-driver seat belt alert system. Mechanically the Ignis 2019 continues to be empowered with the existing 1.2 litre VVT, 4 cylinder petrol engine that generates the power of 81 bhp and the torque of 113Nm, and mated with five-speed manual gearbox, along with an option of five-speed AMT system is reported to deliver the fuel-efficient performance of 20.89 kmpl.

Limited Edition of Maruti Suzuki Ignis Launched In India

September 18, 2018: Without any promotion, country’s leading car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the limited edition of its hatchback Ignis in the Indian car market. The Limited Edition is believed to be launched with an objective to increase the sales of Ignis, which since its launch has not succeeded in impressing the buyers according to expectations. The major features offered in the Limited Edition are integration of additional accessories of worth Rs. 45,000 being fitted by the car maker. Under the hood it will continue with the existing 1.2 litre petrol engine that churns the power of 83 bhp and the torque of 113Nm. The Limited Edition would be sold through NEXA outlet across the country, like its regular version.
