October 17, 2022: Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the CNG variant in the line-up of its micro-SUV S-Presso. The new variants are offered in LXi and VXi trims and are priced at Rs 5.90 lakh and Rs 6.10 lakh respectively. The CNG variants will offer an average of 32.75 kmpl.

 

July 18, 2022: The Indo-Japanese carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the 2022 S-Preso in the Indian car market with starting price of Rs 4.25 lakh. In its upgraded version the S-Presso receives a new  1.0-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated dual jet petrol engine.

 

June 30, 2022: It is reported that the mini SUV S-Presso by the Indo-Japanese car maker had succeeded in scoring a three-star rating in the recently conducted GNCAP test under the Safe Car for Africa Program. According to reports the version of the S-Presso going on sale in South Africa is safer than the model being sold in the Indian car market. In its first NCAP test conducted in 2020 S-Presso failed to score any star and received a 0-star rating. After that, the Maruti Suzuki updated the hatchback with two airbags for the front seat passengers followed by seatbelts with pre-tensioners and force limiters.
