Maruti Suzuki Launches StingRay System with AMT System
November 9, 2015: MSIL has introduced AMT system in StingRay hatchback priced Rs. 5.31 lakh (ex-showroom price). Launched almost two years back, StingRay is considered as an upgraded version of its best selling hatchback Wagon R. The AMT version has been offered in VXi trim of hatchback which is followed by few additional features including dual airbags for driver and front seat passenger followed by anti-lock braking system as an option.
MSIL to bring AMT Stingray by next year
November 26, 2014: It is reported that Maruti Suzuki India Limited is going to bring the AMT version of WagonR Stingray in Indian car market sometimes during 2015. The Stingray AMT version would be developed by the same AMT system which is used in Celerio and recently launched Alto K10. It would be interested to know that Stingray was launched in Indian car market last and is boosted with 1.0 litre K Series petrol engine develops the power of 68 PS and torque of 90 Nm. It is mated with five speed manual gear transmission system.
Maruti Wagon R Stingray Launched
21 August 2013:Maruti Wagon R Stingray is new initiative from Maruti Suzuki India Limited in the hatchback segment. Stingray R Power, Engine and Performance:
Maruti Wagon R Stingray is empowered with 998cc three cylinder engine, that churns the power of 68 Nm at rpm of 6200 and torque of 90 Nm at rpm of 3500. Numbers of valves in each cylinder are four, supported by five speed gear shift.
Wagon R Stingray Pick up and acceleration:
Although Stingray carries the same engine as adorned in Wagon R, but it has efficiency of reaching the speed of 120 kmph which is something awesome in its segment. It would be interested to learn that at the same it is capable of getting the speed of 100 kmph within the span of 14 seconds.
