Porsche begins the production of 718 Cayman

June 7, 2016: The all new Porsche 718 Cayman has undergone for production and is slated for launch sometimes during the month of September this year. The upgraded Porsche 718 Cayman undergoes various cosmetic updates on exteriors, interiors and mechanical. Under the bonnet 718 Cayman receives 2.0 litre four cylinder boxer engine that generates the power of 296 bhp whereas 718 Cayman S is empowered with 2.5 litre engine that boosts the power of 345 bhp.

2013 Porsche Cayman S launched in India

18 June, 2013: At a competitive price of Rs 92.28 lakh, Porsche India has launched the much anticipated 2013 Porsche Cayman S in domestic market. The new avatar of the vehicle comes equipped with many of most advanced features and specs which promise to offer great driving experience with high safety to drivers. The new Porsche Cayman S is more fuel efficient, more powerful, faster and up to 30 kg lighter than previous model. It comes loaded with a tremendous 3.4L, flat-six cylinder engine that churns out max power of 325PS. The engine is mated to Porsche’s most advanced PDK dual-clutch transmission system. It can achieve the speed of up to 100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds, while the top speed is 281 kmph. In Indian domestic auto market Porsche Cayman S supercar is an option of Mercedes Benz S Class, Jaguar XK and Jaguar XJ.
