The only big hurdle in its India success is its minimal existence all over the nation, leaving metro cities and some tier 2 cities, the presence is hardly felt. Also the high-end maintenance costs and expensive spares of Volkswagen Polo make it restricted to the experimental class of car buyers. Though the car is reasonably priced against what it offers, but in this price one can get nearly same sized hatch in the form of Ford Figo or Hyundai i20, which have more widespread network compared to Volkswagen India.
