BMW Driver Training programme introduced in India
BMW India, the top luxury car seller in the country, has initiated a unique driver training program for both of its prospective and existing customers in the Indian market. Named as ‘BMW Driver Training Program’, the initial phase of this program will be held in Delhi NCR and Chennai from the month of February to March 2012. The company dealerships located in Delhi, Gurgaon and Chennai will be pin pointing the interested BMW customers to take part in the driver training program in these regions.

During this program, the skilled trainers of BMW India will be providing guidance to the participating BMW customers over the effective and safe driving behavior. The customers will be taught how to deal with sudden and unexpected situations calmly. By attending this training program the BMW customers will be able to learn effective safety techniques with efficient driving behaviors; enabling them to have greater control over the vehicle while enjoying the ride.

The training program will be initiated with providing the basic driving techniques to the customers including right seating position, appropriate steering posture, avoiding maneuvers, dynamic lane changes, emergency braking and deliberate inducement of under steering and over steering on bends.

Speaking on the firm’s new initiative, BMW Group India President, Dr. Andreas Schaaf said that the BMW Driver Training Program is aims at enhancing and improving reaction time, skills of driving and handling along with awareness of the BMW customers. He added that the program has been designed in such a manner that it will be helping the BMW customers in dealing with potential hazards in day to day driving.
