Tata Aria Automatic to arrive in India by the end of 2013!

Tata Motors is all set to bring in the automatic variant of its MPV, Tata Aria. Recently, the car maker showcased the Tata Aria Automatic Crossover at the ongoing 2013 Geneva Motor Show. This was initially displayed at the 2012 Auto Expo in Delhi last year. Now, the firm is clear about its plan and would put Aria Automatic Crossover into the production very soon. The launch of the same is expected to take place by the end of this year. Along with this one, the car maker also showcased Tata Safari Storme Mountain Rescue Concept at the Show.

Coming back to Aria Automatic, the car will come with a 2.2-Litre DICOR turbo diesel mill that will comfortably churn out maximum power output of 140BHP along with peak torque of 320Nm. The 6-speed automatic gearbox with Tiptronic function will be the major highlight here. Besides the changes on the technical front, the car maker has given the new Aria some cosmetic makeover as well. The exteriors of the car will be seen with smoked headlamps along with chic and stylish tail lamp cluster. On the other hand, when you will step inside the car, the new dashboard design will surely attract you with the cream leather finish.

Right now, Tata Arai isn’t the best selling MPV for Tata Motors and the sales figures are tumbling down the lane gradually. Therefore offering an automatic variant along with refurbished interiors and exteriors might just boost up its sales and reputation. If you are buying Tata Aria today, the price tag falls under Rs. 10 lakh. But the immense competition in the market, the MPV failed to match up to the high competition and surviving in the market with a sluggish pace. Hopefully, the new Tata Aria Automatic Crossover does the trick for the firm.
