now thats a hoax that beat gives a 18 kmpl... i own a beat petrol and the max avg it gives me is a 9kmpl. and in city traffic a 6kmpl, whereas my lancer(petrol) gives me a 16kmpl and 10kmpl on the same route. Also it has the worst service backup.
advice me how could i claim the company for this cheating as repeated mails to the same has borne no results. aalso, whats the best deal i wud get for this 2011 feb LT version with 14000 km

We understand the situation that you are going through with your Chevrolet Beat LT model. But this sort of extremely low fuel efficiency is rarely heard with the petrol model and that too when company is openly claiming 18kmpl. Coming to your query, as you said, you have mailed the company several times but fetched no result, now you can take your matter to the higher authority of the company, saying that you are not getting any reply from the dealer. If you want, you can add this email address gmi.cac@gm.com also. Even after this whole process, you don’t get satisfactory solution; you can take this issue to consumer court. And please don’t sell your Chevrolet Beat until the case resolved, as it might be required for verification purpose.
