Answer for this queation
I had purchased a Hyundai i10 hatchback about 2.5 months back the mileage is pathetic of around 10kmpl, as it is famous for providing one of the most wrecked efficiency in the small car segment. I travel in from home to office and get 30-40 percent of traffic jam while on the way. How can I improve mileage of it?

Dear Rohit,
This has been a fact that Hyundai i10 owners do get much lower mileage than the efficiency committed by the company. See basically is such case the best way is to return to the basics and that is ‘gentle driving’, which means timely shift of gears (at 2000 rpm) in city traffic and on highways. This will slow and steadily drag the mileage till 12.5 to 13.0 kmpl.
