I am planning to buy XUV-500 W8 VARIANT.I am reading a lot about Brake problem etc in Reviews.Should I actually go for the buy or should wait till further company action.

Dear Prashant,
Surely you can go for Mahindra XUV 500 without any second thought and as far as the braking issue is concerned, one can get the same examined by the Mahindra service center and necessary changes/replacements can be done, no big deal. This is not a permanent problem for Mahindra XUV 500 you can imagine the popularity from the fact that each time the booking orders open for XUV, they are on the increasing side. And if this would have been a manufacturing defect or a persisting aspect the company would have responded. Also to ensure max protection the brakes are coupled with aspects like ABS with EBD and Brake Assist for total control of vehicle in panic situations.

YES I HAVE SEEN MANY REVIEWS ON THE NET REGARDING XUV 500 I AM ALSO OWNING THE SAME VEHICLE FROM ATLEAST 9 MONTH I AM THE FIRST PERSON IN MAHARASHTRA WHO HAVE THIS VEHICLE I TOTALY AGREE ABOUT ALL CAUSE OF THIS VEHICLE I DIVE 52000 KM BUT I HAVE NOT GOT ANY PROBLEM MENTION IN THE REVIEW YER BUT AGREE THAT THE BREAK IS VERY WEAK AND ALSO GETTING NOISE WHEN IT APPLYS THA CO. HAVE TO TAKE SOME ACTION NOW THIS IS THE ONLY TIME TO LOOK THEIR ARE MANY PEOPLE ARE DIS-SATISFY WITH THE QUALITY AS WELL WITH THE SERVICE AND SERVICE EXECUTIVE FOR NOTHING THEY DONT HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE VEHICALS THE SHOULD SACK THIS ENGINEERS WHO ARE SPOILING THE WELL KNOWN BRAND NAME IN THE MARKET

My XUV is hust 3 weeks old and folowing are the issues i have observed.
1. On the third day of the delivery the XUV left side passenger door was not unlocking. In M&M A.S.C the change the faulty circuit and its working now.
2. MY XUV has the breake issue, when half the break pandle is pressed then the brakes get applied and while breaking some wired noise comes.
3. The XUV cabine is not sound proof, all the outside noise is coming inside the cabine.
4. Today one new problem started, the left side front door power window stops working.
This are the major issues i have faced within the three weeks of the ownership. M&M should improve on quality check.
