W6orW8 which to buy? only main difference is wheel disc metal or alloy. What is the advantage & disadvantage between the two wheels on performance? I am planning to buy W6.XUV500.

If you’re an off roading enthusiast and make frequent trips to country side or hilly regions than Mahindra XUV500 4X4 W8 will be good for you. However if you carry out city commuting on higher side and explore the bumpy-bouncy areas extremely less than opting for W6 variant will be smart move.
Additionally there is much of difference in the feature list of the two models and that includes alloy wheels, 6-inch color screen touch display, DVD player, airbags at sides & curtains, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Rollover Mitigation, Hill Hold and Hill Descent control. Moreover other exciting attributes are telescopic steering, leather upholstery and electrically foldable ORVMs. The price of Mahindra XUV 500 W6 is INR 13.20 lakh and for W8-AWD (4X4) its INR 14.27 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi).
