If the exhaust pipe(silencer) of maruti suzuki 800 is removed from it,then what will be the results and consequences?

Dear Danish,
Your Maruti 800 will start making louder noise, if the silencer or the exhaust pipe is removed from the exhaust system. This will result in some power gain at increased revs per minute. The exhaust pipe is basically a channel through which the engine slowly cools itself. It happens when you off the ignition of the car, two things are still heated, one is exhaust other is engine. The cool air initially cools the exhaust pipe first followed by motor. There won’t be much impact on the mileage, but on the engine and others ears, yes.
