Answer for this queation
I cannot decide whether I purchase Fiat Palio Petrol SLX or Maruti A Star VXI ? I doubt on Fiat for Service as I stay at Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Can you guide me please ?

The answer lies in your question itself, if you are purchasing a new car. Firstly, Fiat Palio has been discontinued in 2010 hence you are left with Maruti A-Star Vxi only. Apart from A-Star you can also see New Maruti Swift Vxi. On the service part, Fiat is a bit unstable while Maruti is first hand and champion in this aspect.
