Answer for this queation
Experts…I booked Dzire during May’12 but I did receive any response from my dealer. I thought of booking Sunny XL this week. Is it smart decision? I am worried about Nissan Maintenance & spar part cost. Is it heavily rated compared with Maruti?
What would be the cost to fit R15 alloy wheel on XL and is it advantageous?

Dear Jayakanthan,
You can’t compare the maintenance cost and prompt after sales service of Nissan and Maruti. As second largest passenger carmaker, Maruti steers its hefty sales on the basis of these vital aspects apart from many other USPs. Moreover, Sunny and Dzire are two very different sedans, one is a full size premium looking sedan, while the other is compact city sedan. Sunny has got oodles of space whereas Dzire falls short of such huge space. As far as the response from dealership in concerned, if the booked vehicle is Maruti Dzire diesel model, than the current waiting period is of nearly 5-6 months. Nissan Sunny is a good choice but the maintenance and spares costs will be high. However, adding a 15 inch alloy to the XL variant of Sunny will cost you near about Rs 10,000-15,000 for a decent make.
