According to industry experts there are 5 variants expected. There will be 3 petrol and 2 diesel versions, while one will be either with option of leather packaging or else be a separate high-end diesel trim that will have premium leatherette features. It is expected that the petrol version will be 1.5L, 1498cc (99PS, 134Nm) engine whereas there will be 1.5L, 1461cc (86PS, 200Nm) diesel engine sitting under hood. Moreover, the expected price of Renault Scala will be nearby Rs 7 Lakh for base petrol version , while approx Rs 10 Lakh for high end diesel trim.
