i own a tata safari EX model:2009, kms run: 17000. the front left tyre only has worn out in an abnormal pattern. the mid and extreme points touch the ground. the space in between has worn out. i had raised a complaint at tata motors as well with bridgestone. neither of them has explained the cause for it. kindly explain the cause as i do not want to fit another tyre and end up with a similar situation where i loose another tyre.

Sorry to hear that misfortune, as you said that it’s only the left front tyre that has got worn out, while the other ones are bearable. Basically these kinds of complaints rarely appear and, if they do, might be due to different driving styles/patterns. Here you can only get in touch with the tyre manufacturing company to resolve the issue. Apart from visiting tyre company showroom/dealer, you can also send a complaint mail to the higher authorities informing them about your concern. You can get the email id from the official website of the company.
