Chevrolet Sail UVA – A not so good

Pros : high mileage, many safety features

Cons : nothing fresh in the design

I am thinking of buying the new Chevrolet Sail UV–A in the coming time as I have been thinking of buying a new car since quite long now. Although the car has not been launched till now and it will hit the Indian car market on 2nd November as my personal sources told me. Even when the car has not yet been officially launched I have still managed to get some inner things about the car through some of my personal sources, most of them are my close friends and I trust the things they tell me very much.

To start with, the mileage of the petrol version of the car is about 18 km per litre and the diesel variant manages to yield out 22 km per litre in the city. Both the petrol and the diesel variant of the car will be mated to a 5 speed manual transmission system. The features in the car will comprise of twin – tone colored interiors, music system with Bluetooth support and many leading safety features. The price of this car is expected to be around Rs 4 to 6.5 lakh. I have also heard that the manufacturers of this car, General Motors will have a hike in the prices of all of its cars. And it is pretty obvious that this car will also face the rise in the prices it will be available in.

As expected the General Motors will try and not repeat its disastrous blunders it made in the past with its other cars it had done in the past. Even after I have been hearing the auto experts boasting about the beauty of the design of this car, frankly speaking I have not liked this design very much as I feel it resembles the design of other cars which have already been launched in the international market in the countries of Europe and USA in the late 90s. Due to this sole reason of the car not appealing me very much in its styling and appearance I do not think that I will go and buy this car after its launch.
