I am a shopkeeper in Jaipur and I have been looking for a SUV for quite some time. There are few good options currently available in India but I am waiting for some more SUVs that are expected to launch in India soon. Presently I have a Chevrolet Beat hatchback which is good car but is a little small as I have a big family and need much more space. SUVs offer a lot of space not only for passengers but it also offers ample space for storing luggage of the passengers. 

 

Chevrolet Trax is an upcoming SUV that looks good, I have seen Chevrolet Trax pictures on internet and got impressed with it. Though I don’t have much idea about the Chevrolet Trax price in India, but I hope that Chevrolet will price it competitively. Other upcoming compact SUVs are also there like Ford EcoSport and another one from Maruti that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2012. Renault Duster is also doing pretty well, it looks good too but I guess I will wait for these upcoming SUVs and make a decision wisely. 

 

Right now the details about the Trax SUV are unknown to me like the engine specification and features that this SUV will offer in the Indian car market. This Sporty looking SUV is said to be launched in a total of 140 countries and it will also be launched in UK. The UK engine line up is expected to come with 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.6 litre petrol engine and a 1.7 litre diesel turbo-diesel engine. The all wheel drive trim will be proffered I hope. Price and fuel efficiency are two most important things that I look forward to and will also decide whether Trax will make it big in India or not.
