Honda Brio - Small but safe and smart!

Pros : Very safe, excellent engine, smart pick up, smooth steering and refined handling

Cons : Small boot space, initial price can be an issue for some

After paying 50,000 bugs more, you can put your hands on a safer Honda Brio SMT variant that is Brio S (O) MT. In return, you get driver seat and front passenger seat airbags and ABS. Well, that’s quite a fair deal. I bought my new Honda Brio S(O) MT a month back. When the dealer prompted me to buy this variant, I wanted to know why I pay more, like any other buyer. He was smart enough to have convinced me that a safety is more important than anything else. I am really thankful to the sales rep at the Honda dealership at Tonk Road, Jaipur for guiding me in the right direction.

I have driven hardly 500 kms in my new car and am getting a good mileage of around 13-14kmpl, as of now. Hope it improves after the first service which is due in 2 months.

My Black colored Honda Brio looks pretty stylish too. I have gathered compliments for my choice a number of times. But what I like most is the driving pleasure that I am getting. It has a 1.2 L smart i-VTEC engine which oozes out 88PS of power and accelerates almost instantly (just about 14.5 seconds) from 0 - 100 kmph. It even picks up from the 2nd gear as the gearbox is very smooth.

Yes, there are some issues pertaining to the small boot space and Brio being overtly compact but to me it matters least. It’s for just two of us and we would have even bought a two-seater, if there would have been options. So Honda Brio fits my requirement and I love this little cute car for its ability to deliver high performance.

Honda cars are one’s pride and Honda Brio reinstates that thought in my mind.
