A surprise package from M&M
Pros : Compact styling and Mahindra’s badge
Cons : Don’t know yet
I have had Mahindra Scorpio with me for the past three years and after driving it for more than 30,000 kilometers I have become a diehard fan of Mahindra & Mahindra. I have heard about the upcoming Quanto of Mahindra and have seen some pics as well. What I think about the vehicle is that it looks cool and compact which will be great to maneuver in city traffic and with its powerful SUV engine cruising on highways shouldn’t be any problem either. Styling of Quanto appears almost similar to its big brother Xylo, space will be shortened but that won’t affect the city commuters. It seems that the comfort level inside Quanto would be good. I expect Mahindra to impart the same powerful engine of Scorpio so that driving this vehicle becomes a brisker. I have heard that the company is claiming fuel efficiency of the upcoming Quanto to be around 10 kmpl in city and 15-16 kmpl on highways. I think this sought of mileage would be good if not great because other compact SUVs like Maruti Ertiga and Renault Duster are claiming around 15-18 kmpl of mileage.
