Mahindra Quanto – Compact utility car from Mahindra

Pros : Good looking, capacious, efficient

Cons : Can’t say it so early

Hi I am Yogendra Singh form Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. I am planning to buy a compact utility car in one or two months. The news is great that Mahindra is going to soon going to introduce its compact MUV, Quanto in India on coming 20th September. In pictures, the car looks extremely exotic and stylish like Mahindra Xylo.

In addition, the Interiors look capacious and well mated with good quality of fabrics and plastics. However, I am confused if the company will introduce it only with a five seater option or is there any scope of this car being introduced in additional seating capacity. It is the 1.5 liter diesel engine that is going to be installed in this car and expected fuel efficiency is also great. However, actually fuel efficiency reports will be available when the car comes in the market, so I will have to wait and see.

I am expecting that like the big brother Xylo, the Quanto will also be introduced with all the necessary features like ABS, Music system, Central Locking, Power Steering, Power Windows etc. I am bit worried about the price of the car. I would be satisfied if the company introduces this car in the range of Rs. 5 – 6 lakh.

At present, I own a Maruti Wagon LXI, so my priority would be to go for exchange. I hope that this little MUV will be satisfactory in all aspects otherwise, I will think of switching to Maruti Ertiga. I hope that the company will offer the MUV, Quanto with lot of exciting and this car will be value for money in every aspect.
