Mahindra Quanto: budget car

Hello friends, this is Sourav from Ludhiana. Recently, I have been busy searching for a new car that not only comes in my budget but also serve me as a family car and can be used sometime as taxi. There are plenty of choices in the market but I just put my plans on hold sensing the festive season coming in India. You know well that this is the time when all the car makers bring discounts, free goodies and all new cars.  

I came to know about Mahindra Quanto, a mini Xerox of bigger Xylo. It is coming in few days and I am waiting for its launch eagerly. As I am told, the Quanto will be priced approximately INR 4.5 lakh and if this would be the price tag, on road price should not cross INR 5 lakh. With 1.5 litre diesel engine and jumbo seating space inside, INR 5 lakh is not a big amount. I have seen many hatchbacks either in petrol or diesel costing more or less at the same price. My calculations predict that at this price tag and features, everyone should wait for this magic car.

Although I am not convinced with the looks of the Mahindra Quanto, what only I am betting on is its budget price and diesel engine. It can be used as a family car and as a taxi both due to its compact size and SUV like appearance. This is also not to be seen as a competitor of Renault Duster or Ford Ecosport; these two are way rich in looks and features. All these my speculations might go wrong in the long run but if these come true, I can bet that this would be the best buy this year for any one.
