Mahindra Quanto –Dashing and efficient MUV to come

Pros : Classy looks, 1.5 liter fuel efficient engine and strong Mahindra service network

Hi, this is Nishant Acharya from Noida and I thought of writing something about the upcoming SUV queen Mahindra Quanto. Last year, Mahindra introduced the XUV 500 which was a market hit and this year end, they started with New Mahindra Xylo which too has made a successful start. Amazingly, the company has scheduled to launch Mahindra Quanto, certainly a small avatar of the big Xylo.

I just had a close look at the pictures of this car and it seems that undoubtedly this compact crossover is going to avail the comforts like a full size MPV. Its good to hear that this car is going to be introduced in the 1.5 liter diesel engine, which means that it is going to be one of the fuel efficient engines in its segment. It would be interesting to see that at what price Mahindra Quanto is brought in the Indian market. My expectations as a buyer would be somewhere around Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh. Features are also going to be another point of consideration as buyers these days look for some exceptional safety features like the Airbags, ABS, Parking Sensors, EBD, Child Safety Locks etc.

I read that the Mahindra Quanto is going to be a five seater MUV, then the question arises is whether is MUV is going to have a sufficient leg-room, head-room and shoulder space. Also, I am bit worried about the driver the co-driver seat adjustment. Well, I would say that the company should launch it as soon as possible so that buyers who are willing to buy a MUV in a nominal price tag range can go for the test drive and plan to buy it.
