I am anxious to witness that how this mid-sized vehicle will deliver in reality when it comes on the roads. Yes, I am talking of Mahindra Quanto, a small, compact diesel-engine powered MPV that will be launching soon.

It’s a typical Mahindra vehicle that promises to stay along with you on every rugged and rough road or terrain. Its 1.5L CRDi turbocharged diesel engine with 3-cylinder is projected as a powerful instrument that churns out enough power to drive it smooth.

I think quanto is going to set new standards. Firstly, because it is so inexpensive, priced between 5-6 lakhs and also because this is a diesel car that will give one the advantage of getting cheaper fuel. The whole concept of making this vehicle excites me as a prospective buyer. It is a practical idea that Mahindra has worked upon and if the vehicle is also safe and attractive-looking, it will be a big hit.

 I also think of trying the upcoming Maruti Ertiga (diesel variant) because that also falls in the same segment. However, I feel that Maruti is new in making such vehicles and so Mahindra who are experienced players will bring a better MPV in the market.

I am more inclined to buy Mahindra Quanto because it seems to be worth the money at which it comes. Let’s wait and watch!
