Mahindra Quanto on the brink of launching

I was quite curious to know the launch date of Mahindra Mini Xylo, I had been following news on Mini Xylo religiously. When I got to know that the vehicle’s name has been changed to Mahindra Quanto and will be launched in India by the second half of September 2012, I was quite excited. The new name given to the vehicle seems interesting and will give it a different identity, earlier it was being considered as the petite version of Xylo, however now it will be taken as a new vehicle in the clan.
 
For those who do not wish to splurge much money, this is a perfect option. What makes it a hotly anticipated car in India is its compact size, low price and the confidence that comes with the brand of Mahindra & Mahindra. I am confident that it will turn out to be a great vehicle like other Mahindra cars available in market. An expected price ranging between Rs 5 lakh to Rs 6.5 lakh is very affordable and more than that the space which this will offer is unbelievable. My entire family can go out together else, hatchbacks provide less space and cost almost the same as the above mentioned expected price.
 
Currently I have Hyundai Santro which has now become outdated, though I do not wish to sell it as I do not think so that I would get a good amount by selling it, it could rather be used for local purpose as my wife drives and she can use it to pick children from school or for other local purposes. Quanto launch is not far away, in few days time I will get to know the price of the vehicle, let’s see if it lives up to my expectations or not.
