Cervo: Want it to be modish in all aspects

Pros : compact looks, mileage, maintenance

Cons : safety, dash, low power engine

Hello friends, I was just very eager to the launch of Maruti Cervo. Internet says that it will be launched in Diwali or yearend but as there is no official announcement I guess Maruti will launch it by New Year 2013 only. Till now I have read that it will have a 600-700cc engine which is pretty less I think I already own Maruti Zen classic since ages and would like to shift into an at least similar power modern looking vehicle like Maruti Cervo. Some of the features that I completely miss on Zen are safety and proper centre console and dashboard with enough features. There should at least be dual airbags at front in top variant, which not there even in existing Alto k10, a disappointment. I would suggest to the company that come with such a chic car that saddens the fans of Chevrolet Beat, as Beat supports think there can be nothing better than Beat.

According to news Maruti Cervo will cost around 2-2.25 Lakh, I say take 30,000-50,000 more and make it a complete hi-tech hatch. The interior pics of the Japanese present model are awesomely best, but I know it will get trimmed, which I don’t want. Another important thing is that in order to take on not only in the segment of small cars it should challenge the bigger hatchbacks too with a variety of fuel choices to choose from petrol, diesel, CNG. The best thing about Cervo is that it looks more urban compared to other boxy car from Maruti.

The exterior designing is super-smooth and sleek along with best front and rear from the company till date. The space inside will be good enough as seen in pics and the interior quality is expected to go alongside the price.  The two things that were neither a problem with my Zen nor it will be with Cervo, and that is mileage and maintenance. On top of that the widespread service station network.
