Maruti Ertiga VXI, Nothing great for me!

Pros : price, mileage, Maruti brand and price

Cons : normal looks, absence of numerous lavish features, crushed space for rear passengers

The newly launched Maruti Ertiga certainly seemed to be attractive. But I guess it’s attractive only from far away distance. I have been looking for an MPV since a long time and with the release of Maruti Ertiga, I was excited. But the test drive, I came to know that Ertiga isn’t anything special or differed as compared to other MPVs available in the market.

However, the 1.4 litre K-Series VVT petrol engine churns out sufficient power and delivers good mileage of 13.5 to 16.2 km per litre. But the interiors sure lack of numerous luxurious features. The car doesn’t have Remote Trunk/Boot Opener, airbags for the driver and front co-passenger. The absence of alloy wheels is also a disappointment. Therefore, I will not suggest Maruti Ertiga to the one who is looking for a MPV, but if your stress is on price and mileage, then I guess this car is built for you.
