Nissan Evalia with class apart powerhouse
Pros : Expected to have powerful engine and soothing interiors
Cons : Précised service network can be a big problem
Hi Guys, it’s nice to hear that Nissan is going to introduce an MPV on the domestic shores. Although, SUV Nissan X-trail has not been an impressive machine but, I feel that the powerful 1.5 liter engine which is rumored to be embossed in this car can be its USP over all the other MUVs available in India. Other MPVs in India come powered by a 2.2 cc or 2.5 liter cc diesel engines, however, Nissan Evalia is expected to come loaded by a powerful and efficient 1.5 liter dCi engine which is expected to have phenomenal peak power of 105 PS. As the engine cubic capacity is quite less compared to other MPVs available in India, I expect the Evalia to deliver a decent mileage as well.
The only point which can be a cause of worry is its looks. So far, the company has not unveiled any glance of its exteriors. The prevailing SUV, Nissan x-trail is although a good mean machine but from the point of looks it is disappointing. Similarly, if the company does not pay heed to the exteriors of upcoming Evalia, I don’t think that this car is going to be a successful product in the Indian auto-market. Another cause of worry for an Evalia buyer can be the pathetic service network of Nissan. Whoever is the owner of any Nissan car in India can really understand the problem of servicing it. I would suggest Nissan to increase its dealership network if they intend to compete with brands like Hyundai and Maruti.
One thing that might favor Nissan Evalia can be its soothing interiors. All the Nissan cars are blessed with fabulous inner trims that make it distinct from its rivals and Evalia too is going to be an exclusive package of comfort and convenience for the buyers.
