Looks like the old Safari

Pros : Service back up of Tata Motors is good and interiors look improved

Cons : It has got the same orthodox looks and technology

Tata Safari Storme is although a new member to get added in the Tata family, but it has got the same ugly styling and outdated appearance that takes it far behind from the current modern appealing crossovers like Mahindra Scorpio, Mahindra XUV500 and Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3. Since the launch of Tata Safari in the Indian sub-continent, the DICOR engine has been the traditional concept from the company and now with the change in time and hiking fuel prices, I think that Tata Motors should bring in the new Tata Safari Storme with a fuel efficient engine possessing more power churning calibre.

I would wish to see the new Tata Safari Storme as a fully loaded machine offering all the luxurious amenities like Reverse Guide Camera with parking sensors, Cruise Control, Multi-functioning Steering Wheel, Multi-way adjustable driver and co-driver seat with Memory functioning, Bluetooth Connectivity, Airbags and Sun-roof/ Moon-roof. Also, the company should keep in mind the demands of automatic transmission and 4X4 vehicles. From the snaps it look as if the interior quality of Tata Safari Storme is much better than the current Safari Models. However, the exact interior judgement can be made only when this car strikes the Indian roads.

One positive feedback of most of the Tata car owners have been the after sales service, no doubt the cost of spare parts of cars like Tata Safari Storme would be a big concern for the enthusiasts, but the strong service back up of Tata is commendable. I am expecting this car to be launched in the price tag range of Rs. 10 – 11 lakh. Also the expectations are that the new Tata Safari will have better fuel economy from its 2.2 liter engine.
