Want to upgrade to Tata Safari Storme

Pros : sporty looks, exclusive features

Cons : none

Since quite some time now I have been planning to shift myself to a new SUV from my old Tata Indica now. I want a car that is very comfortable as well as it should have an engine which can give out a very big amount of power so that it can support my regular habit of going off road just for the sake of fun. I can go into the deep interiors of a place while I am on a joy ride with my car. And I would also like to add here that I can go really wild with my ride at certain times. Hence I want a car that is sturdy and tough so that it can support these habits of mine.

Around ten days ago I heard that Tata motors will be launching the new version of their very successful SUV, Tata Safari today. Therefore I have decided to wait for this car. The Tata Safari has been successful in meeting with the needs of Indian customers since just over about a decade now. The car suits the Indian roads and terrain and it also merges itself perfectly with the driving habits of the Indian drivers. This particularly new version of this car was unveiled in the auto expo 2012. And right from that time itself I wanted to gift myself one of these beautiful cars.

As per the rumors suggest the car will be available in two variants, 4x2 and 4x4 for the more adventurous and enthusiastic drivers like me. The beautiful car possesses a very imposing stance on the exteriors of it, whereas on the inside it seems like the company has focused more on class. This car will be officially launching itself on 17th October in India. Moreover the price of this car is expected to be around Rs. 9 – 12 lakh. I personally feel that the car will prove to be a tough competition to Mahindra XUV 500 and Renault Duster with this price. I have heard that bookings of this car have already opened unofficially but I am waiting for the official bookings to be opened.

Some of the features on which I have already checked and I should say that they have already impressed me. The car has a very sporty looking two exhaust pipes at the rear, a new solid roof rail, new front grille, projector headlamps and the interiors have a leather covered steering wheel, a wooden finish on the dash, dual air condition with blowers on the roof and adjustable tilt steering wheel. I personally feel that this car is very nicely priced with most of the top end features stuffed in it. The car has already highly impressed me with all the features that the company has added in it. I should here say that I am also very much impressed by the sporty looks this car has.

The looks of the SUV are impressive, and the 2.2 litre DiCOR diesel motor is also a powerful engine.
