Cruising the Cruze
Pros : looks, strong build luxurious interiors
Cons : Engine, mileage, handling
After running and the cruising my Chevrolet Cruze 2.0 LT MT for quite some time now, I have taken both the positives and negatives on a weigh to balance and I find three very prominent and persistent problems with the Cruze, one of them being the Engine that does not empower the sedan much, though it has a lot more potential, but seems to lag a bit somewhere I don’t know being a layman. But seriously the engine seems to rumble with unnecessary noise as if it is churning some unreal amount of energy rather it is not much powerful. There is lacking of insulation between the engine and the cabin which makes it even noisier inside. The engine also fails to deliver appropriate mileage in the city, highways are still better but it really takes a lot of diesel to cruise through the city. Not very reasonable but fair would be my say on the Cruze in terms of mileage and efficiency.
Moreover I learnt that the steering has a problem with control at higher speeds, it seems somewhat heavy and I certainly have no clue why. Sometimes the bulkiness of the Cruze which is rather unnecessary comes in between too, I suggest myself perhaps that might be the cause of the eightfold steering. Apart from all these features, it is very convincing for the Cruze to sell itself even at this high price, since it has got some very masculine and sporty looks and a strong build. The quality of the luxury features inside the car is undoubtedly admirable being a Chevrolet product. However after weighing both faces of the coin I would still recommend buying a more suitable car in this high price range.
