Chevy Sail – Good in style but poor in drive

Cons : performance and handling

For more than three months I am driving Chevrolet Sail UVA LS and so far the experience has been a mixed bag. I bought this car thinking it to be the least maintenance one in its segment. Well, that is true but in some areas, I feel that the car is not up to the mark. Speaking about the drive, the Sail UVA has good control on stability, but in parallel the performance of the car is not as good as rivals like Swift or I20 petrol. Despite it being good in stability, you get in trouble while managing it on high speed as it starts shivering at speed of 110 kmpl.

Other than this, I found my small Sail very good in many areas, especially the mileage. It has got 1.2 liter petrol engine installed in it that delivers practical mileage of 15 – 17 kmpl within the city. Besides this, the looks of my Chevy Sail are killing. Unlike the former Chevrolet U-VA, the Sail UVA has got sporty trims with well-designed outfit. The headlamps and front grille looks very similar to Chevrolet Captiva SUV. Every angle of the exteriors is appealing and leaves a long lasting impression on the onlookers.

Added to this, I am also in favour of the classy interiors of my cute hatch. Inside, you will feel like sitting in a sedan. Entire dash has been given a unique design and the seats also have pleasing comforts. Similarly, the interior cabin space is another USP of this car. Both front and rear cabins are blessed with enough of headroom and leg-room.

At last, I would conclude saying that Chevrolet Sail UVA LS is very good as far as the cosmetic and fuel efficiency are concerned, but in reference to drive it is not as impressive as the other cars in its segment.
