I was not a big fan of Chevrolet cars until the time Beat was launched. The car really made difference to carmaker’s appeal in the country. The latest offering from the American car manufacturer is the sensational Chevrolet Sail UVA. Company has kept its detailing simple and practical with no major lines or cues on its exterior. I loved the Chevrolet Sail UVA STD petrol variant which is the most value for money variant as it gets the same fabulous space and comfort that you get in higher trims. You have to compromise only on the feature part and that is okay for me.

A decent 1.2 litre petrol engine is imparted in the car which gives satisfactory company claimed mileage of around 18 kilometer per litre. As I have verified from prominent auto websites, its acceleration is also quick and takes mere 14 seconds for moving from 0-100 kph. Front power windows, Powerful AC, Front cup holders and Power steering that you get in this variant are less but with the price with which they come neutralize all the concerns. Chevy Sail UVA has a capacity to comfortably seat five passengers with good space for leg and head.

Interiors are dual toned and boast of a convenient large glove box. I am planning to get hands on this GM car on this Diwali. We were having doubt either to go for Maruti Swift or the Chevy Sail, ultimately we decided it should be Sail UVA as it has more room then Swift and has less waiting period comparatively. Acting as a cherry on the cake is the 3 year warranty of Chevrolet that makes the maintenance cost a big 0. In the end, I would say that Chevy Sail UVA STD is the best petrol hatchback present in the country.
