Chevy Sail: Definitely a U-VA generation car

Hi friends, I just saw the initial pics of the upcoming Chevrolet Sail U-VA and was fascinated with the simple yet elegant looks of the GM subsidy’s hatchback. I was going through online reviews of this car; it could turn out to be a real gem for Chevrolet as the vehicle has plenty of space and comfort for front as well as rear passengers. Interior pictures show a nice dashboard that is on the practical side and plenty of cubby holes for your accessories like water bottle, cup, etc.

The appearance of the Sail has been termed as modest by many auto experts but what I feel is in India, people like me who are low profile, like to have a practical car with decent outfit. Sail U-VA has all the ingredients to be the best car. I know the competition is really tough with Maruti Swift and Ford Figo selling in good numbers but the three year warranty with which Chevrolet will come that will be an influencing part.

Also, another factor that gives Sail a chance is the presence of diesel motor. In recent times, the buyers are looking for diesel engine cars since they offer good mileage and the fuel is less costly compared to the petrol. The company has claimed an impressive fuel economy of around 22 kmpl for the diesel one and around 18 kmpl for the petrol fueled car. Now that’s a good point that will assist in gaining good numbers for Sail hatch.
Pretty decent car with smart front and an okay rear, Chevrolet Sail U-VA should be priced below the Rs 5 lakh mark to gather more attention. I have researched thoroughly on this car and would be going for the test drive part soon……excited!!!
