A muscular giant hatchback with good fuel efficiency
Pros : Good design, nice fuel efficiency, spacious interiors and a very nice ride at handling
Cons : Small rear wind screen and it’s hard to reverse as car offers bad rear view
I was looking for a nice hatchback and taking test drives of all the available models of Hyundai, Maruti, Tata and Fiat and finally my search ended at Fiat’s Punto. A rugged, muscular raunchy design impressed me a lot at the very first sight and after evaluating its offerings briefly I come to understand its marvelous engineering and advanced features and it is very similar to what I was looking for so I finalized the deal and booked the black emotion pack for me. Let me take you to what I noticed and I think it would be of some help for people looking forward to buy a good strong car that is easy on pocket too.
Punto is powered with 1368cc engine that gives 90 PS of power at 6000 rpm and makes the giant a wild rhinoceros all set to rumble. Pickup is phenomenal and car offers relatively good average close to 14 kms. Beautifully designed exteriors gives a distinct personality to the car and I really liked the rear light, similar to Indica but is placed slightly higher and saves it in time somebody bangs it from back, a good clever thought isn’t it.
Interiors are less classy than cars like Polo and I-10 but are more of a flashy type. Legroom is cramped on the rear side. Boot space provided is good enough. Punto is an action packed package for youngsters and offers an outstanding driving experience. Maintenance cost as per dealer is not very high and am not very sure about the after sales service and is yet to be seen but surely its high on offerings and surely a best value for money it fetches.

Fiat Punto is a muscular hunk and a best value for money. It’s a best pick for people who prefer diesel cars over petrol ones and wants a long term commitment.
