Ford Endeavour – the king of highways
Pros : Spacious interiors, great off roader, strong architecture and powerful engine
Cons : Low fuel efficiency, leafy suspension, bad after sales service and no audio controls on steering
I have recently purchased moon light silver version of Ford Endeavour with no graphics because I don’t like jazzy exteriors and believe in simplicity. It’s my daughter’s choice, and finally we bought it. Purchasing a car worth 20 lacs is a big step and almost doubled investment for me who was taking great pleasure in driving Safari. I had some initial sleepless nights but the high end driving experience and extremely luxurious interiors satisfied me a lot and now I have started loving it.
Exteriors look stunning and depict the raunchy look of American off roaders. Tyres are broad and provides very tough grip over the road. Suspension is just amazing and keeps all the three seating rows very soft and fluffy. I like the styling of the vehicle a lot and it’s like a wonderful combination of power and beauty all together in a single soul.
Interiors are amply spacious and all the three rows are provided with separate a/c vents that chills the vehicle in like 3 minutes. Third row is slightly cramped and passengers need to bend their legs causes slightly discomfort over long distances. Dashboard is equipped with all the modern amenities, instrument cluster and meters all are embedded very nicely and makes the interiors very beautiful.
Engine is very powerful and responsive makes driving a very thrilling experience. It’s a true off roader and I have tested it very well on all sorts of terrains. Going on long drives is a sheer delight and it allows carrying world together.
Overall it’s a very nicely build highway cruiser from Ford which has immense hidden capabilities that I need to explore. Endeavour means a try and their efforts to build a world class SUV is welcomed. Good going Ford keep it up.
