Ford Fiesta – Is it a worth buying sedan?

Pros : great features and mileage are its USP

Cons : poor rear tail lamp shape

A day back I visited the Ford dealer here in Ahemedabd as I am planning to buy a diesel sedan in the range of Rs. 8 – 10 lakhs and for that I have short listed Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Vento. Although, looks of Volkswagen are also not bad, but my key priority is to buy a fuel efficient sedan as my running is more on the highways than in city. I saw the Ford Fiesta diesel style model and it looks quite satisfactory to purchase, however I have certain doubts that are very important to be cleared prior I purchase it.

First of all, I am confused about the practical mileage of this car. On papers I have heard that its fuel economy is around 21 kmpl therefore, those who own it please let me know what is its exact fuel efficiency. I found the rear seat of this car not much spacious for three passengers though I did not make three passengers to sit inside it. I also want to find out whether the features work properly and if the music system posses fantastic sound or not. Besides this, I have not properly checked about the driver and co-driver seat comforts of this car, therefore, I have a doubt that if driver seat have got sufficient space or not.

I am planning to buy Ford Fiesta within one or two weeks, but prior that you guys can make aware about the hidden facts and reality of this car. Well my expectations are that this three-box sensation is really the other sedan killing animal but your suggestions would also be valued.
