Cute looking hatch with fine-tuning

Pros : compact shape, awesome design, good mileage, engine…. unbelievable

Cons : less interior features

This is Amit, I got this cutie pie in the third week of March this year since than driving it good with no issue apart from minute ones. We have around 3 vehicles (excluding mine) at home and my family is a true Maruti fan with all vehicles of the same company. We have Maruti Alto, Maruti Swift and age old Maruti Baleno sedan. But when I decided to buy a Honda vehicle none in the family supported me apart from my sister, she not only supported me but also gifted me with the car, being youngest in the family has its own advantages. I decided Honda because I wanted to create a distinction in my own way and have heard a lot about Honda petrol cars.

Hyundai i10 was also in the list, but the refined engine and up market appearance of Brio made it a favorable choice. We were actually lucky to get Honda Brio E MT within one month after its booking. As far as driving is concerned  the engine will complaint  till you take 4 people with AC on, it actually picks up slowly in 5th gear, which is pretty ok for me.  The best part is the mileage that we extract after driving it with all care; it returns heartening 16-17 kmpl, while at traffic situations it reads 13-14 kmpl or at times even 14.5 kmpl, which is very good compared my brother’s Swift petrol that provides an overall mileage of 15 kmpl.

The features like butter smooth power steering, really good AC, and front power windows are fabulous in this base version i.e. Honda Brio E MT, but the requirement of climate control and modern music system is felt in the cabin. One good thing is its compact design that makes it fit at any small place. But issue is with the Honda dealer near us, the kind of baseless attitude he carries is just annoying.  For which I had complained to the higher authorities with support of my MLA uncle. Now, he has changed his behavior not only towards us but also other customer which is a sigh of relief. A lovable car with superfine engine and mileage along with (improvised) Honda service assurance.
