The lovely little road master

Pros : Appreciable performance and fresh designing

Cons : Rear cabin stiff for 3 passengers and should also be available in diesel variant

Honda Brio was launched last year, with much enthusiasm and ad campaigning. Since its launch, I have been spying the dealers to get this car as soon as possible. I bought the Honda Brio S (O) MT variant two months ago at a sum of Rs. 5.50 lakhs, and I have been a content owner ever since. I have been on a 800km trip once, and it was a lovely experience to drive this small beauty on the highways.

The exterior of this small car is quite attractive. The rear is its real USP, with there being a glass tail gate, instead of the regular metal tail gate. The headlamps and tail lamps are lovely, and the car has a charm to it. The interior of Honda Brio is simple and sober, yet stylish and sporty. But somewhere, I think that the rear cabin should have been more capacious to accommodate three passengers easily. My car is powered with a 1198cc engine from Honda that delivers incredible power and torque.

Though, It is Honda’s cheapest car till date in India, but that being said, it doesn’t mean that it is not a quality car. Honda has been known for its quality products, and this small car is no exception to the saying. I think that soon a diesel model of this car should also be brought in the market, as for long travel purposes people seek for diesel options. Furthermore, Honda has never launched any Diesel car in India, but if cars like Brio are brought in diesel avatar, I can surely say that Honda will be on cloud nine. In my verdict, for those who look for a small car, Honda Brio can come out as a perfect match.
