Beware of its brand name – Honda Brio is a waste of money!

Pros : Brand name and reliability of Honda, ride and driving pleasure, powerful engine

Cons : Boot space nil, inferior interiors - lacks finish, not spacious

My close friend made a mistake of buying this car, relying completely on its brand name. He is suffering the repercussions. I want you all to know that. Yes friends, it has a very good brand name attached to it but the fact is that this car let it down.  Buying a Honda Brio won’t be practical. Honda Brio V MT is a tiny, petty small-sized car which offers few privileges only.  Its 1198cc, 1.2L, SOHC i-VTEC petrol engine is undoubtedly powerful and peppy but besides that when it comes to interiors, build quality, finish, spaciousness etc., Honda Brio fails miserably.

It can’t accommodate more than 4 people comfortably (most families in India aren’t that small). There hardly is any headroom for tall people. You can’t carry your luggage when going for a long drive. A small car (particularly, in India) can’t be so very restricted to the urban surroundings only. I mean you don’t just need your car to go and come back from work. It giving an average mileage of 13-14kmpl won’t compensate for so many other vital issues. The plastic material used in the interiors look inferior. While encountering the pot-holes, the suspension of the car gives no protection to the rear seat passengers.

All I want to convey is that, one cannot buy Honda Brio for its sheer driving pleasure. It is a waste of money and there are so many better options available. Go for Ford Figo instead.
