Honda City – My new partner

Pros : Mileage, performance, road stability and features

Cons : Less acceleration power

Hi, I am Rajiv Shivalkar from Kolhapur Maharashtra and a few days back, I have purchased the 2012 Honda City 1.5 V MT. My white colored City is totally unique from all its forerunners. The entire front and rear profile of Honda City is wholly changed. Prior this car, I had a 2007 Honda City and compared to the old one, the new City is totally changed. I have driven my new City on the highways and I found the road stability pretty decent, but yes the paddle acceleration is not much impressive like its old models.

Moreover, in terms of fuel efficiency too, my Honda City is a heart winning tool. This newly arrived babe gives mileage of 15 kmpl in city and around 17 kmpl on highways. If you don’t consider the acceleration, the engine is also good. The powerful 1.5 liter petrol engine of this car is too silent and runs smoothly. Besides this, there is plenty of space for five passengers in the new Honda City. It has got powerful AC that makes me forget the hot and humid climate outside. Added to this, there are other exciting features available in this car that include; Power Steering, Power Windows, Climate Control, ABS, Central Locking, Music System, Fog lamps, Rear Windshield Wiper & Washer etc.

One thing I can surely say that the maintenance of Honda City is less than other sedans like Vento and Rapid. I think that Honda should focus on improving the acceleration of Honda City, because whenever I drive some other sedan like Vento or SX4, I feel that the acceleration power is very less in City.
