Hyundai Accent: This sedan star needs more refinements
Pros : Sober design, good leg-room, driving
Cons : less features, unavailability in diesel engine and mileage
Hi, I am Ajay Singh Rajput from Mumbai, Maharashtra. I own a Hyundai Accent Executive CNG for more than 3 years and I have enjoyed riding it. The reason why I opted Hyundai Accent was its sober design, capacious interiors and drivability.
Three years have passed so fast, the car has become a part of my routine travelling. Though, it has got bit old and also I feel that somewhere it lacks features compared to the newly arriving cars. The exteriors are the most impressive one of my Accent and I feel that it looks more adorable than cars like Maruti Swift Dzire and Tata Indigo Manza.
Three people can easily sit on rear seat and the leg-room space is also good. I think that the drive of 1.5 liter CNG/Petrol is also good. However, the acceleration gets low when you drive it on the CNG option.
I feel that the time has come when Hyundai should think of introducing the Accent with many new features like ABS, Airbags, EBD, CD Player, Cruise Control etc. Also the company must now think of getting the diesel variants of Hyundai Accent back in the Indian auto market so as to make it a competitive product in the entry level sedan segment. The mileage that my present Accent gives while run on petrol is just 12 kmpl, while on CNG it is around 13 kmkg.
Hyundai has introduced its Verna sedan with a new stylish looks and all modern features, same I would expect for the upcoming models of Hyundai Accent.
