Hyundai old gold just got better
Pros : Powerful engine, excellent interiors, great driving comfort and a big car feel
Cons : Missing fog lights, rear armrest still unavailable, Low ground clearance and outdated exterior looks
I have been driving Accent Executive for 13 months now and here are my findings about this adept piece of Japanese engineering.
The drive is smooth. The car handles the potholes and bad roads excellently and is very easy to handle on high speeds. The car is very silent and I have only one word for pickup, it’s stunning. Car gives a good fuel economy too. I am getting mileage of 13 km/litre without AC in city on petrol which is among one of the highest figures in this segment. I have not tested the highway mileage yet but expect it to be close to 16.
The driving position is amazing. The tilt steering is very useful. The front seats are very comfortable and the interiors are excellent. The available color combinations, dashboard, interiors, AC is awesome. Many a times I have to switch it off after 10 minutes as I feel cold inside the car. The back seat is also comfortable but unavailability of headrest for the middle rear passenger seat is a slight discomfort and many people find the back seat height is too low and available legroom is not enough for tall people. Both my father and father in law have 6 feet of height and they find it very difficult to sit at rear and always prefer to sit in front.
The car comes with lots of features like rear defogger, keyless entry, wooden finished dashboard, body colored bumpers and side mirrors, tilt steering, leather wrapped steering and gear knob but why fog lights are still missing I am not able to understand but overall it’s a great value for money.
