Automatic transmission would have made i10 irresistible

Pros : Decent fuel economy

Cons : Lack of manual transmission

I have just booked a Hyundai i10 Asta GLS for myself, and the hatchback has an array of good features that I was looking for in my hatchback. The 1.2 litre Kappa2 petrol engine is mated to a manual transmission; the car returns 13.7 kmpl of mileage in city and 17.9 kmpl of fuel efficiency as told by the Hyundai guys at the showroom.

Priced at Rs 5.48 lakh (ex-showroom Pune), the car has almost all the features but it lacks in automatic transmission surprisingly it also does not come with alloy wheels which are usually available in hatchbacks of this price range. It is a popular hatchback from Hyundai but a diesel mill would make it a perfect choice for the customers, since my office is nearby therefore buying a diesel car is not a good option for me, also I do not travel much that is why zeroed in on i10 petrol.
