Exteriors: Hyundai i10 sports some dazzling exteriors which definitely compels the eye balls to give it a stare with a second look. According to me, elegant finishing is provided along with beautiful finishing giving this hatch back a new meaning in its class. Due to the imposing bold looks Hyundai i10 looks a bit bigger in its segment. The smiling grille design contributes a lot in its “cute” factor. The detailing in the tail lamps is done with style and efficient perfection. In my opinion shapely rear view mirrors and chrome outlines blend with the curvy exteriors so well that helps Hyundai i10 to steal a beat of every one onlooker.

Interiors:  The moment I made my way to this ultra spacious hatchback I realized the true meaning of intelligent space utilization concept from Hyundai. Every view inside contributes to the car’s luxury like the upscale upholstery. The integrated console is beautifully placed centrally at the high scale dashboard. The spacious interiors could host upto 5 occupants with ample legroom and intelligent headrests. For long journeys the huge boot space provision is a nice feature. The AC works amazing even at long journeys and no extra pressure could be felt of engine performance.

Engine: Hyundai i10 is introduced with an 1197 cc, 16V DOHC Kappa2 Engine which superbly delivers a Maximum Power of 80 PS at 6000 rpm and a satisfactory peak torque of around 112 Nm at 4000 rpm. However during our test drive the advertised mileage of 21kmpl was nowhere to be seen.

Safety: Hyundai i10 manufacturers have given some of the most advanced safety features like the dual front airbags, in the braking system; the ABS is very responsive on wet roads and disc brakes did the work quite marvelously

during test drive. During my drive the engine noise was reduced manifold which is quite pleasurable. Many handy features such as the driver’s seat belt warning light, low fuel indicator, ABS and airbag warning lamp etc. are provided for convenience.

Special Features: The electrically functioned external rear view mirrors that come with turn indicators are an added benefit to driver. The electric sun roof in some models of Hyundai i10 gives it a totally new dimension and the utmost luxury appearance could be felt. The 3rd gear is amazing and the performance delivered is classic.

Improvements Required: The ride quality definitely needs a lot of improvement as the bumpy feeling is a bit irritating; here it lacks the fluency of ride. The visibility is also not good as compared to Maruti Alto and Ford FIGO. The wiper also becomes an obstruction at rains as only a limited speed options are available. Steering is ok ok though it feels a bit heavy.
