My Hyundai i10 gives me stress!!!

Cons : Mileage, Strength, maintenance issues

I bought my new Hyundai i10 Magna 1.2L in January 2009. In just about 3 years time span, my car has started asking for a lot of maintenance. I am driving this car single-handedly and yet it has turned in to a really bad shape. My friends who owe other cars of the segment of i10 like Zen Estilo and Wagon R don’t make such complaints ever. That even more disheartens me.

I purchased this very expensive car (it is and remains over-priced in its segment) and now I have troubles maintaining it. What Hyundai sold me for those extra bugs is a good-looking external package but poor car in terms of mileage, maintenance and overall strength.

I feel cheated because the sales reps I met while purchasing it gave me those false promises that the car is going to give 15-16kmpl mileage. I hardly get 10kmpl with 70% AC on. There is always shortage of some or the other vital component at service station. I feel that it is very inconvenient because one has to wait for long before the car comes back after the service. It becomes even more painful because a bill amount of more than 8000 rupees needs to be cleared every time after the service.

The Hyundai i10 comes with a lot of tensions. I have to bear high maintenance cost, poor mileage and above all, a lot of stress.
