A very good and complete family car
Pros : Nice styling, beautiful headlights, good mileage, low turning radius, spacious interiors and good pickup
Cons : Less boot space, high maintenance cost and not rugged enough
My dad gifted me Hyundai’s Santro on my 21st birthday and I have been driving it for the last 3 years and it’s been great all the time. I shared some of the best of all time memorable moments with it. First two years it was my sweet college ride. My girl friend likes it a lot and we often go on long drives enjoying its comfort at full.
It’s a very comfortable ride with awesome handing all the times, especially on highways when you are able to exploit its power at full, pickup is quick and is very agile and enables to take sharp turns without a hassle. Mileage is great. I like it’s a/c a lot, even in the scorching heat of summers I feel much comfortable inside the cabin. Space inside is enormous for five people to enjoy the ride at best however boot space provided is much smaller and doesn’t allow to carry much.
It’s a very durable vehicle but requires much care and is not rugged enough to go wild hard as its parts are delicate and tend to break easily, they are priced relatively high and the maintenance cost is high too for a small car. It’s a best value for money with base model priced close to 3 lacs, with all the features that a middle class family will look forward to.
A best car for a youngster, a very comfortable car for a family and a best purchase for the one looking forward for a best in class vehicle in a very affordable price and the beauty of the investment is you will be able to recover most of it on resale.
